All this long ball stuff is terrible
For all those "need more lochhead" fans: as much as I love the 'need more cowbell" references I can't understand why we need more "terrible passes" or "kick it out" in the game.
We are missing his forward runs which push the opposing fullbacks back (+ overlapping with Leo) - hence why Coyne and the other hack are getting forward and even Todd is pushing up.
Also Hearfield is playing crap because he's at left back which has thrown out the entire defence

Get Manny off, Greenacre on. Do it at half time, not 60 mins.Drop Ifill and Leo back into midfield roles. We are trying to play the same as we have the last few weeks which is f**king stupid because we have no right back to get forward and support the attack and Hearfield is playing sh*te.

How about a left back the can defend on the left, that has a left foot, that doesn't hit long balls crossfield all day and can actually play it down the line on the deck for his winger. Neither of our wide backs have that ability today, and it is showing.

Agree nothing happening on the wing going forward from defence ,and Bertos is having a very average game weak crosses and half hearted long balls all round very disapointing performance so far!

why does no-one WANT the ball. The mid-fielders should be yelling "give me the f**kin ball" then turn and distribute. We are standing around almost hiding in the f**kin corner type attitude, and when we do get the ball we lump it forward to Dadi who is nursing a head injury and is being marked by 2 very good CB in the air.

Ricki better do something or this is going to get ugly (uglier?) very quickly. At the very worst he could take off Lia or Brown, push McKain into midfield, stick Manny at LB and Hearfield at RB with Siggy and Dura in the middle and get Dadi off and get Greenacre on.
