Why do Melbourne fans think that they're awesome because they won
the league last year?! Do we need to remind you that you finished
7th 2 years ago! Sydney fans weren't cocky when they won the first
grand final. they shut up and played the 2nd season! Remember that
Melbourne has lost its 1 single playmaker Fred, so lets just wait
and see before we start getting cocky guys! You have to play us
twice in the space of 4 weeks remember.
It says that 3rd place in group B has a home game though feverish? Is that not true?

Ferrante and Lia were dropped from melbourne they were great in the
first A League season! So im sure the Phoenix are stoked to sign
them. All this tlk ups bllsh*t neone can win on the day and with a
big crowd behind the phoenix i would back them over melbourne for
that reason.

there already they "have the systems in place" (which I guess will
help a lot given the short time frame)

be where you are imho...hard as it is to admit. I must say
though, signing Hernandez is not replacing Fred. Only once
he's performed like him on the field and brought you a championship
will he have replaced Fred.
Any reason why you guys haven't done so well in

yeh i spose your right about the fred replacement. the thing
is im confident he will be better than fred. ive saw him play live
in geelong, although for only 30mins, and he had great composure on
the ball, and also overnight he got through the full 90mins, and
scored a goal. i know its early but im very happy with this
signing.
as to why we havent performed as yet, i think it probably
comes down to we have only had one sticker in allsopp. archie and
love should now join the team in wellington, or wherever they play.
but im not that worried anyway, its only preseason, and i wont be
surprised if your boys get up in the coming week.

Can't play it here, then go to Tasmania or Darwin you don't hand a free home game and psychological advantage to the side you play in the season opener. They'll get 17,000 at Olympic Park make a couple of hundred grand out of it and we'll get nothing.
Also, while I'm in rant mode what on earth is the story with this sort of news appearing on the A-League site with not a thing on the Phoenix one ? I'd have thought some news on the day today at the stadium and something with as big an impact as this would be all over the club site ?
