I know its been up for months but nobody has ever mentioned it on here, there is a banner on someones flat/office building just almost accross from the stadium that says:

C'mon NIX !

I wanted to say thats awesome whoever done it and i was wondering if it were someone on here that done it as its brilliant coming into welly station every morning and seeing it, top class stuff!!

Yes, that's the one.  Been there all season.  Super effort that.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

yea i first noticed it when i came down to live in welly in october and thought it was excellent, as i had emigratted from scotland in june to auckland and realised welly was better, by then i missed 2 home matches, but i saw em live on TV (not the same as being there) and i noticed this sign and thought wow that is awesome! its like advertising for the nix!

The place is known as Nixville and is the scene of many booze ups on game day.

They seem like pretty good sorts. You start chanting to them from the stadium walkway and they'll respond and wave. Always good to see as they get ready for the match.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Correct Ze Dog, Nixville is the name of the place.  my mate told me.

Jam packed with people the last few home games, great to see.

They are always singing, boozing and dancing etc.
You can always see a little guy eating stuff off the barbie too.  He must be 24/7 hungry!

Yeah it's not just off the barbie either....believe me.

Always a good time and a good cause, it's great seeing everyone walk past on the walkway, a sea of yellow, almost brings a tear to the eye.

How many booze ups can you have in one day?

12! No, is this a trick question uiron?

The answer is dependant on the replyees interpretation of the term "booze up". Some may feel that having a few before the game, a few after the game and a few during the game constitutes 3 booze ups. Others may separate the occassions by visits to the bog. (30 seconds, spray and walk away to another booze up).

Then again, perhaps Z Dog was implying that this place has been the venue for one booze up on several different match days.   Enough to drive a man to drink really.
