I'm in westport for the next 5 weeks with work..... is there anyone
on here from there I can watch the game with???? they dont seem to
be the football type down here so I'm not holding my breath for the
pub to be playing it

I think you'll find Chuckles that in order for a TV to watch soccer
to work, you first need an electricity outlet.

Bigtobz - ye of staunch airport fame but little faith -
Reefton was the first place in NZ to have electric street lights so
I'm sure Westport will have power by now.
I'd reckon, Chuckles, that some of the British miners who came
out to NZ a year or two back might have had a pint or two at a
Westport pub by now, if you can find out which pub you might be in
for a good night of football and banter. Good luck!
At some point we'll need a Fever guide to NZ with all the
football pubs marked on it.
