I'm not sure if this has been suggested elsewhere, but I think it might.

I'm wondering:
Should the nix persist with using the RoF given crowd sizes during the regular season?

Arguments against the status quo:
1. Expense of hiring such a large venue (or do they just give a cut of tix sales?)
2. crowds "appear smaller"
3. loss of atmosphere to "empty seats"

Pros for remianing at westpactrust:
1. Where else could they play? (does WGTN have a ~10,000 - 15,000 seater venue?)
2. A-League stadia rules (are there minimum requirements that other venues wouldn't meet?)
3. ease of access (up there with the best stadia in the world in terms of access for fans)
4. Existing agreements (contracural issues?)
5. TV/hosting facilities. No issues with the borqadcasting of events at westpactrust...

Crowd numbers (especially when the weather is awful) are getting perilously close to Kingzesque (5-7k), can the nix sustain the cost of using westpac trust? Do the pros outweight the cons?

Its been well covered for oh.. 2 or so years.
There isn't really anywhere else that is suitable for us to play. Each park has it problems.
Lighting, accessability and Seating.
The three that come up all the time are..

Porirua Park- is probably too small, lighting is bad and its hard to get to from town.
Newtown park - is too small. No proper lighting.
Basin Reserve - is not suitable, seating would not be lay out right and lacks lights.

Anyone who seriously suggests that the Nix move out of the mighty unbeaten fortress for 16 games Ring of Fire will not get a pleasant hearing from fans, players or staff, I reckon.

Oh, in that case... mods, please del this thread. It's wasting your time, and mine.
