What's with not checking concession tickets?

Just wondering why they don't ask for Student ID at the games, I've been to four Phoenix home games now and each time they don't ask for Id ... I don't have ID myself but my mate does, so I just buy one Adult and one Student ticket from Ticketek , and when picking up from the caravan by the entrance, I just say my name and they give me tickets. The guys that stand by the turnstiles when you scan in the tickets do nothing either.
In future if they don't ask again, I'm gonna buy a Student ticket for myself and see what happens (probably get asked then haha)

Yea, I never been asked. I was at the pre-season though (it was
free for students).

If you buy a family season pass, the tickets just say 'family', and
they don't check 2 are children, even if they did you just go two
in at seperate times and the tickets don't connect to each other,
if ya get what I mean? (THis means you can take 4 adults in on a
family)

i would expect that if people abuse the ticket system (e.g. by a
kids ticket for an adult to go in with) then the club will adopt a
policy of checking all the tickets and we'll have delays at the
turnstiles

oh i wouldn't cheat the system, it's just that I don't have a student ID yet as it hasn't been sent , been over a month already, I'm happy paying $23 for an adult ticket , besides I pay enough in petrol from Hawkes Bay (plus drinks at the 'Bencher!), so whats another $23 haha

They dont mind at the gate my friend always gets a student ticket
and hes not a student. THE CLUB WANTS BUMS ON SEATS!!!!! if 5

I am glad they dont ask because i havent got around to updating my
student ID..But am a student and agree its stupid to rip off the
system, if they dont make money we wont be keeping our team for
long

Why the heck should students get a concession anyway. What have
they ever contributed to society???

Sub Question for you all.......
You buy a season ticket for $184.00?
You buy a ticket for every home match at $25 (MIN)
Question - Does the club earn more from the individual
purchases or from the season ticket? I'd like the club to get max
revenue from me so to speak.

yea but season passes are definate $$$ i mean they sold 2,500 odd
before the nix had played a competitive match. say those
were all student price @ $80 thats still $200,000 before the first
game. say that they were half and half, thats 1250 @ $80 and
$184 which = $330,000 already
catch my drift.
To all you yuppie scumbags who hate students just remember
that not everyone has a huge disposable income, $12/$15
every week/fortnight is a lot of money to some people. Its
good that students at uni and college can see the games for a
cheaper rate because there are alot of us, the nix would sure miss
our support.

student season passes were 80$ it was magical, ticketek are funny
about cheking ids. sometimes they ask, i asked for 9 students once
and she wanted 9 ids and then other times they dont. depends how
much they want to disrupt your life that day.

Phoenix game definately worth the Adult price (or whatever anyone pays) ... and yea, maybe at the next home game, they will ask for ID .. although I don't see how they will go about it with the people that print off their tickets at home ... all they need to do is stroll up to the turnstiles, scan ticket and they're off

doubt the stadium officials and the phoenix actually waste
