I don't even like to contemplate this, but what if Durante and Brown both get yellows on Saturday, earning themselves one-match suspensions (both are on four yellows)?

With those two, Sigmund and Muscat all out, what would the line-up be for the game against Adelaide on the 18th?  In particular, what would the back four be?

Presume Scott still training with them and could come into the back four on some basis.

Think we have enough cover in midfield that Brown would not be overly missed but the back four would certainly look lightweight.

Already contracted in Norway - unless he's been chopped.

If Owusu plays for Adelaide then perhaps cardboard cut outs would suffice?

Well lets keep a cardboard cut out on the bench just in case.

Hell yeah, play Mulligan.
If those two get suspened that means 4 suspensions in 3 weeks which would officialy class us as the Wimbledon FC of the A-Legue!!!

No defence.

Paston's organisational skills will ensure no Adelaide player can break through our midfield.

Gould in goal and bring Paston out into the back four. His height and build, he should be pretty good. got an excellent shot on him too by the way, at the practices anyway. He could've been a striker for sure.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

He started out as a striker (at schoolboy level).

Peter Crouch-like?

You'd think Mulligan would play some part or other of the bench at least.

If not then wow that would be a slap in the face.

One of the mysteries of all time is how some one can make it into a WC side but can't get a gig for their club when they both have the same coach....

The chances of brown picking up another yellow card are probably 80%, Dura prob 50%.....could make for an interesting team vs Adelaide.
