1. A mascot; perhaps that big yellow bird off Sesame Street
2. A Water Boy; The Venuzualen basketball team has one, why not the phoenix, they are missing out on some high quality H2O
3. Cheerleaders; you can't go wrong with them

Any ideas apart from some better teamwork, speed, one two football, and a backline i can actually sit and watch without turning my head away...

Oh God not one of those plastic mascot things, somebody for the yobs to chuck Tui's at.

Now cheerleaders are definitely needed, saw some hot ones in Sydney last week, I think it was for the League.

You'll be banned for suggesting 1 and 3 haha- but 2 is a fantastic idea. May I suggest send on a pair of midgets?

at the risk of being quoted in weeks to come as a whiner/turncoat/traitor/weasel

the answer to the question is

tackles and goals

but they are still the reason that 2007 is the best year in a longtime for this football fan!! (just setting the record straight, in case of selective quoting)

Thank god they found a solution, otherwise we were in danger of the Eejit being in the squad.

I wanted Frankie Mac as a mascot. In one of those giant Sumo suits and an extra big Phoenix jersey covering him!   Lonegunmen2007-10-29 23:51:39

Giant Sumo suit required?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Who needs cheerleaders, isn't that what we're for? - "STAND UP FOR THE PHOENIX"?

As for a mascot, tar and feather Joel Griffiths then light him on fire

Aw, c'mon. That's a bit harsh.

Why waste valuable burning time with the tar and feathers

Tar and feathers to make him look like a bird, the fire to make him look like a Phoenix!

Ah Ha! Cunning, very cunning.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
