Do you think he will be in the line up against Perth.  I understand that he was playing for Fulham reserves as recently as 3 weeks ago so fitness shouldnt be too bad

I think he would prob get a run on at the end of the perth game - he is cleared to play for it.

Doubt we would see him in the starting line up though

ya, he will probably be an impact bench player.. hopefully we can see him and george introduced to add some power for the end of the game..although it wont happen imagine trying to contain daniel, felipe, elrich, and george for 30 minutes... although daniel or felipe will prolly get subbed

lol at people suggesting elrich is an impact player.
this bloke will walk into any a-league's teams starting 11.

cant wait to see him in action.

He will be an 'impact player' until he gets fully fit. Ricki won't start him for a couple of weeks yet, i'd say..

The former Australian representative, 26, has joined the Phoenix on a one-year contract, and will be available for their home match against Perth Glory in Wellington on September 30.

Elrich looks pretty fit (in an un-gay way), fitter than that fatty jardel who battles with 10 minutes off the bench.

Hopefully Elrich will get a decent go against the Glory so we can see what he's got, we need him carving up if we are to have a decent chance away to Queensland and Newcastle the week after.

He has got to be fitter than Jardel, feck im fitter than Jardel and im a pie cart ,do you reckon Jardel wears a low cut top when he goes to the casino?

Just watched him playing for a Tim Butterfield Re-Union side that looked like Miramar Circa 2002.  He's got a few pies on him, no Jardel but certainly chunky.

Cleberson, Browlie and Costa were also playing.  Brownlie scored the equaliser for Butters side to make it 1-1 with the Team Wellington side (including some triallists).

The Butterfield team was definitly missing a certain S Jones.  Him waddling onto flicks from Brownlie and Ryan would have opened TW up

For the third time, based on Saturday's guest appearance he's overweight and not remotely match capable.

It will be a miracle if he even makes the bench.

He wont be playing. He's fat and unfit. Give him a few weeks to get into shape.

He struggled to beat Andy Hedge for pace on Saturday, so I wonder if anyone else was trying.

Apparently he seriously injured every other phoenix player at training this morning.  We will see, but think he could play against Queensland
