I was in Malta a couple of weeks ago, and asked a few of the locals about him.  None of them had any idea who he was.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Have they got Ferrante playing up front for them?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

From what I've heard, they were very unlucky this morning against Sweden.

Swedes ride their luck again
Sweden bolstered their hopes of World Cup qualification after a second lucky winner in successive games.
After Zlatan Ibrahimovic snatched a fortunate stoppage-time goal to see off Hungary on Saturday, tonight Sweden needed an own goal from Malta's Ian Azzopardi to clinch three points.
Azzopardi deflected the ball past goalkeeper Andrew Hogg after 81 minutes, after Sweden's Marcus Berg shot across goal.
Sweden began the match slowly and hardly threatened before Olof Mellberg headed just wide from Kim Kallstrom's free-kick in the 28th minute.
Rasmus Elm passed up a chance before the interval as Sweden dominated possession but created little.
Kallstrom hit the post early in the second half after taking on a pass from Ibrahimovic, and substitute Tobias Hysen fired a shot off target soon afterwards.
Hysen, of IFK Gothenburg, missed a glorious chance in the 66th minute when he headed Mikael Nilsson's cross but failed to trouble Hogg.
Johan Elmander was the next Swedish attacker to pass up a goalscoring opportunity, and with Sweden requiring a win it was proving a frustrating evening.
Malta threatened sporadically, mainly on the counter-attack, but there was rarely any danger to the Swedish goal.
The Maltese seemed set to cling on for a goalless draw before Elm's long throw from the left caused panic in the home defence and Berg, beyond the far post, rifled across the ball which Azzopardi turned into his own net.

Well done Manny, wondering whether it's worth staying up until 2am on the night of the home playoff to watch him mark a Portuguese winger. I'll probably be so disappointed or so ecstatic I'll completely forget.

European qualifiers finish on 14 October (play-offs are in November, but Malta won't be involved in that). So you won't have to worry about this on the night of the home qualifier.

Oops, I misread the schedule and thought it was 14th November,  not October

Well maybe after Ricki finish up with the AWs and Nix in the future, he might have a go at changing Malta's fortune and give Euros and European WCQ a shot. Thats if he gets the AWs to the World Cup Finals. Might as well get the an upgrade on his CV.
