Which current A-League coach would you swap for?

Which current or recent A-League coach would you want at the Nix if you had to pick? I'd go with Marco Kurz from Adelaide (but probably have him enrolled in an anger management course before the season starts)

Maybe extending to former coaches as well would give the thread more of a life span. Gives more than 9 options to choose from anyway.

Allegedly

Miron. We'd still lose, but at least it would be entertaining.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I've been very impressed with Marco Kurz and Adelaide this year. Good recruitment, healthy team mentality etc. Considering some of the injury issues they've dealt with, they are certainly punching above their weight.

Yes, and he is reasonably new to the HAL which is a success in itself. He might prove to be better than Gombau.

Who do you reckon is the most likely to get sacked next?

It's easy to say we'd have Arnold, and of course I'd take him, he's a great coach. But Sydney has always had fantastic pulling power, and its much harder to get those Mierzejewski/Ninkovic type players here. I think Kurz would be great for a number of reasons. Adelaide has played so many young players this season, and they've all shown themselves to actually be quite good if given the chance. This seems to be the case with pretty much all the other A-League teams too, it's just the majority haven't cottoned on to this exceedingly obvious fact. I think the Nix are no different; look at Singh, Ridenton, Cacace, hopefully Patterson. Kurz plays youth and for a club that can't spend big that's pretty important. I also like that he's strict and clearly doesn't take any Barbarouses/Finkler-esque shark. That mentality has also manifested itself in the way Adelaide play. They may not be the best team, but they're definitely one of the hardiest teams and have a real never-say-die, gritty attitude which is all I want for the Nix to have right now

Well, if we are going to include former managers....

Poppa would be interesting. A new team every year.

Gui Amor wouldn't be bad either.

Littbarski would be a throw back to them early days.

How about Steve mcMahon for those scousers...

It was better when there was 100,000 posts saying the exact same thing.
