What a stunner from Eugene Dadi! Sorry Daniel - the Fever has a new favourite son.

If Terry is a smart operator, he must instruct Ricki Herbert that as far as Wellington Phoenix is concerned, first priority is for Wellington Phoenix to do well rather than the wider NZ national fottball team. Play the foreign players, vix. Ifill, Geenacres, Dadi, Caceres, Diego, as a matter of urgency and Wellington Phoenix will even surprise Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC! Australian clubs are trying to please Pim Verbeek and this has resulted in imploisons that we see now! make use of this opportunity and make it count!

Such a shame that the Nix shop is totally out of home shirts and there seems little prospect of more ..  there will be a run of 'Dadi' hopefuls for sure!!!

What are you on about? You think Ricki plays NZ players over the Aussies/foreigners if they are worse just because it's good for NZ football?

If that was the case Mulligan would be playing over Hearfield..

Don't be an idiot. Ifill, Greenacre and now Dadi are certain starters pretty much and so is Daniel a lot of the time. Caceres has been there or there abouts. The only one on the outer is Diego and that is because he doesn't really fit in anymore at the moment and had a few shocking performances at the start of the season.

On another note it's funny to read some of the posts about Dadi on the Perth Glory forum before this game:

Don't post crap and rile them up - it's annoying when other teams supporters come on YF and do it

I just read all four pages as well... great reading for nix fans. The black and white change in opinions from the 2nd page to the 3rd is crazy.

love at first sight.    What an amazing, amazing goal.
If he can keep up this kind of form, and the amount of effort he put in tonight - sign him up for next year!

Will be interesting to see how the shed react to Dadi scoring the winner in the 90th min

Yes .. we are going over on Monday 18th and have a day at Scarborough and then going down to Margaret River before coming back for the match.

Will definitely be looking for other feverites!!! Can't wait. Are you in Perth? May ask a few questions before then. Cheers

Even more satisfying after I suggested at the end of last season (or thereabouts) we have a decent look at him and being jumped on almost immediately for it.

Whilst the thrill of scoring 2x would have given him a second wind, he played the whole 90 and showed no real signs of fatigue.

We found the target man we were after. Great with ball at feet, and great technique, and crowd favourite already :)

I noticed just how many headers he won, more than we have in the last two years!

Think I said he'd be a good get but is maybe a bit too old for a long term contract so this 8 game stint is perfect to see where he is at

It will be interesting to see how he performs in the coming weeks - especially if Greenie gets a run as well.

Picking up Caceres/Dadi/Reddy could end up being a masterstroke.

Each player has proven in the past that they are A-League worthy, and the long-term commitment from our behalf doesn't have to be there. Each has also had a point to prove against their old clubs/playing for contracts, and this has only bode well for us so far...long may it continue.

If Herbert can keep getting this out of him then I'd be happy to have him on board for next season.  He's also a strong, physical player which is great to see up front for us.

I'd love to beat Perth and have him grab a brace.  That'd be great for him personally as well obviously.
