I think there was speculation that they MIGHT get some sh*t for using the club logo.  Not sure if they ever did.

The screen printing outfit that made the shirts really should know better...

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Yep the Petone lads/ladesses. If it promotes the game who cares? Plenty of business and money making for everyone.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Cant agree with you Lonegunmen, things like retro rickys are fine. But Terry fronted up with the cash and i dont see why just anybody can use the club logo to make money or print up what they like.

Clubs are really protective of their badges/logos etc, and rightly so. Aside from the financial repercussions, let anybody and everybody use your logo and the place would be flooded with cheap, nasty products. Doesn't reflect well on the club.

BTW, wasn't having a go at the petone lads t-shirts, I thought they looked good.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
