Reebok does all the A-league jerseys.

They will be all over town by the sound of it, but may not be until
September
.
Not sure if the club will have a shop themselves (but that would be the first place I buy from if they do). Champs Sports in Cuba mall, Rebel Sports and RYOS on Lambton Quay are all likely to have them and (I guess) Champions of the world might as well.

There is a thread on the site somewhere that said they woud be
around $120.
Continuing the slave market in Asia by supporting rich
multinational companies by overpricing replicas...

Folks,
We did have one possible outlet for merchandising promoting sales on here. We had to make a call on whether it was appropriate for one outlet to be promoting on here while others were not, and perhaps more importantly should we be promoting outlets that have supported the game of football in Wellington over those that have not really done so prior to the existence of the Phoenix.
To that end the post with the offer was deleted while we consider what would be an appropriate forum for letting people know where they will be able to get Phoenix merchandise.
Cheers

Gees thats a bit ruff don't you think? This is a forum after
all, and if it wasn't offensive or illegal I don't think you should
censor someone trying to promote the club (and his business).
If other outlets haven't come to the party and started advertising
well tuff bikkies for them, bad management.
And are you seriously saying that you aren't interested in
companies that haven't supported football before in
Wellington? Will the same policy apply to supporters?
I don't know if this website has any official link to the
Phoenix, or if it is just a supporters club, however if this
is the way the business/club is going to be run, lookout...
So how bout you leave the censorship up to the
Americans?

Hard News mentioned all the places you are likely to be able to get
merchandise. There have to be controls otherwise a) The forum
would be full of adds not banter b) You might blame the moderators
if a business did not fulfil their advertisement

Hey Vim,
If you check you will see that it was stated that the Fever (who have no official link to the club) are evaluating the groups position on how these issues should be addressed.
Other groups and companies have approached the Fever in this same space, however, rather than turn these fan boards in to a bunch of free advertising space for shops (be they existing football suppliers or the ever welcome bandwagoners) at this stage we'd rather keep it for fan opinions.
As an aside, if it was me personally, I'd be buying straight from the club so all the possible money goes to funding my team, rather than a cut for outlets and distributors.

I agree with not wanting the forum to be turned into an advert-fest, we get enuf on tv, however I do believe that if there is a thread that is called "where do I buy the shirts", it is understandable to the readers that there will be someone who will put their hand up and say "at my place".
Sounds fine to me. I didn't read the 'which pub are you
going to drink in' but surely there would have been places listed
on them. Was that censored for free advertising?

Would an Ads section in the Off Topic section be the way to go?

No Vim, this is not the original thread. The original was
started by the retailer. If you don't appreciate the moderaters
attempting to make this forum better by moderating the content then
that is up to you. To date we have had to pull a
number of posts, warned about a dozen people, and even banned
a couple. No pleasing everyone. As HN says, we are still evaluating
how things like this can be addressed.
It would have been very hard to have a poll on finding the
official bar without listing some options!

At what point will I be able to order one over the internet? I
don't think I'm gonna be in Wellington anytime soon...

Hey
It wont be till at least september (may be slightlt
earlier)that the official Reebok replica shirt will be available
from what I can gather from Reebok.
You will have plenty of opportunity to purchase the jerseys
over the net.

Cheers ryos... nice spelling too...

September!!! Dayyuumm. They should bring them up earlier, get as
many sales as possible.

Also important to note that the A-League have an exclusive deal
with Rebel Sport and also FootLocker so would not expect to see
"offical" merchandise available in any other retail outlets. Of
course you will be able to buy online through the phoenix website
and the a-league website and also on match day from the ground

yeah they need net purchases,
Esp for those who are not in wellington.
Come on merchandise is money.

I want one now-why the fck is reebok taking so long?
I might end up supporting another club!Reebok need to sort our pirorities,
they need to get all the workers that are making reebok pump's
and get them onto jerseys....
cause reebok pumps suck-and are a waste of time.

Not quite right buddy...you will find numerous sports
retailers in Wellington that will be retailing the Phoenix
jerseys.
yeah sure these will more than likley be in Rebel Wellington
but you will also no doubt find them in independent retailers
(those that already have Reebok accounts) The likes of
Champs,Ourselves,Stirling sports will definatley be starters.

Hate to disapoint you but you may be in for a battle. Heck one of
the knights players was part owner in a sports retail chain and he
could not get offical reebok apparel. Many outlets in akl wanted to
but you mite find that contractual regualtions will prevent this. I
hope things have changed but last time i saw the contract it was
pretty water tight.
