Why is it that everyone who knows me and knows i'm fanatical about my football, attending all Phoenix games, always say -
 
                       "I suppose you are going to & can't wait for the LA Galaxy game".
 
Don't they realise that proper football supporters enjoy competitive football matches and have seen enough games of the years, do not need to pay a fortune for an exhibition frendly games, lining already rich clubs coffers.

Yeah, same thing happens to me. I just tell them that I don't give a toss about Galaxy or Beckham, but will got to watch the Phoenix, especially the guys we haven't seen much of so far. Hope that Costa, Draper and Spoonley get a longish outing.

You should be excited - as it's great for the game in NZ in so many ways -so if you love footy and want to see it take off - then you shouldnt be negative!
