Why can't Nix take penalties?

The question arises, why wouldn't we - like many good teams - have a chat to an experienced CB like Dura that there is no other option but for him to take it on. The buck stops here. 

Strikers (or attacking midfielders) have so many different shooting scenarios in their heads that it can mess up the simplest one of all. Defenders can be more reliable in that situation.

I recall a great Polish player of 70-80 era, Wladyslaw Zmuda, participant in four WC finals for Poland. He was famous for not having ever missed a penalty in official games. He always, predictably, placed the ball in the bottom left corner, with little but sufficient force but with impeccable accuracy. Every keeper he faced knew where the ball was going  to go before it was kicked, and they still could not stop it.

I'd at least like to see a "conversion rate" league table for our penalty takers. I have a feeling that Iffy and KFCarlos would be far ahead of anyone else.
