I was expecting them to say things "I would love to have got
to a Phoenix pre-season game, but couldn't", "sounds like the
crowds were fantastic", "looks like a bumper crowd is expected on
Sunday", etc
It was all a bit doom and gloom - "please get along"
"hopefully Wellington will get behind it", "what will happen to the
crowds if they lose", etc

I guess though to be fair they have been at the coal face of the
disappointments that have gone before...so they aren't jumping up
and down just yet.
They really do lack a bit of personality though, Fred de Jong
sucks the life out of me...I can actually feel part of my energy
being sucked into the TV screen while he gets into one of his
monotonous rants...

Last time I listened to De Jong my power company had to bump
up the voltage supply to my house to keep the life support machine
