Is this a sport people want to watch?

Why not pick two 1.95m strikers and lump the ball forward at them?

You would have to do better than this over scripted one-dimensional garbage that is being dished up at the moment.

All those credits Chief had built up have quickly disappeared this season and he needs to turn it around quickly and without some of the BS he talks as well.
Its dire whichever way you look at it and i really do wonder if he has confused the players with expecting them to be able to fill multiple rolls.
Because despite him saying some of the new arrivals were capable of doing it they havnt shown they can. also abit much to expect young guys just starting out are capable of handling. It sounds good when he talks it up but we just arnt seeing any evidence the players can do it.

I’ve found I can’t watch the Phoenix this season. I watch snippets of games or highlights after. The football is just lacklustre. I know how disloyal this sounds and I still support the team but based on what I’ve seen there are much better uses for my time.

It’s unfortunate timing with Auckland coming in and playing great football just as we really drop off. We need to shake things up fast as any kiwis from outside Wellington getting into the game will 100% follow them instead.

The other worry is he throws OVH in who he has ignored for most of the season as if he is some savior, hope he is given more than just this half.

Chiefy maybe a bit delusional? He speaks like everything is fine and things will pan out. Like someone said just before, we need a plan B. What he's trying to do doesn't seem to be working at all.

All the conjecture aside. Tonight is the first time I have seriously questioned myself over whether Chiefy is actually the right man for the job going forward.

OVH absolutely had his moments last season, certainly looked far better than Walker, Piper & LBS ever have for us to date. Assists, a goal, and that all important header on for Zawada's goal in the semi

Don't think I'm even going to bother with the Adelaide game next Saturday, just keep an eye on the other top 5 teams and hope they will pile on as much pressure as possible on AFC, plus watch and see whether the Glory can actually get something against AFC, highly doubt it but you never know. Fudge those tw*ts in AFC jerseys in amongst the City fans as well.
