One New Zealand Stadium will host the Nix women’s and men’s teams for the very first time on Saturday, February 6 as they each face Western Sydney Wanderers.
The women’s side will kick off at 2.15pm before the men play at 5pm.

The full announcement called out the active zone and the fact it’s effectively GA, so hopefully that’s a good sign:

From the article on the Nix website which includes enthusastic comments from the venue manager, I'm sure that ther stadium will facilitate the usual active supporter zone.
The body that manages the new stadium is the same as the body that managed the previous Addington stadium, so things should go okay if they did last season in Chch.

Just booked my flights. Be aware that the Sunday CCH to WLG return flights with the national carrier are already very pricey (in my view). I have booked Air NZ southbound on Saturday morning and Jetstar northbound on Sunday evening.

Accommodation is also getting pricey, especially around the CBD and stadium, but there are still some reasonable options (at least for now).
