Given the ball away three times in the last couple of minutes. Need to tighten up our passing and ball control.

Pitch isn’t helping us, sadly. Think we’d be finding it easier on a slicker surface for passing.

We've got a right to be even more boring than usual. This reminds me of some of those games in the past when half the team has been on AWs duty and we've been forced to play the kids.

Done well so far against a not very dynamic Macarthur.

Man we desperately need to get some players back from injury. We're pretty much forced to play on the counter and it's working, but imagine how much better we'd be with a full strength squad. It's getting a bit tiring hanging on by the skin of our teeth. Credit to the team and staff though, they're doing all they can with what they've got, and succeeding with it too. Hope we can hang on here tonight

Fudge me this is a cow track. Only missing grates and pats. Ball bobbling everywhere.

Where do you think the cow bells came from? lol

Waikato

We need more Cow Bell

I got a fever, Phoenix til I die! They can do what they want with their rural vuvezelas!

I worry about his fitness though. We know he's carrying some kind of injury too. This bog of a pitch is not going to do it any good.

CCM won their game 1-0 against Marko Rudans bunch.

This year we seem to win against all odds. Years gone by we'd be down 3-0 in this game...

The cheif is actually a magician!

Hope we see Salas soon.

Apparently he's recently recovered from a quad strain? Annoying that I hadn't heard anything about it when he was signed..I reckon if we are up we won't see him

Was that Conchie or Hughes who lost possession twice there?

Come on Phoenix! Sort it out.

Noticed in the first half we were just giving him space. Seems like a bad idea.

Conchie’s been very poor, shame as I’m a huge proponent of his. A great Rufer prototype on paper, but isn’t controlling the game like he did for the U20s and reserves

Good run from Hughes there.

That was the game right there with Kosta, my lord.

Oldie skinning Clayton Lewis down this left hand side prior though. 🤌

I've been completely calm all game but since we missed those two great chances (and another one!) I've got a serious case of sweaty palms.

We should be 3-0 up here.

Oldie has run his absolute socks off today. Could have been game set match there.

Props to Isaac Hughes tonight as well.

Second start of the season, and the lad does not look out of place one bit. Backing up his good game against Brisbane the other week.

Salas is good.

Yes…though that tackle made me nervous. If we can get the ball without committing to tackles like that on Uli near the box..,
