There’s a history of racism against Asian and Latin American players and then there’s trying to justify not giving a stone cold penalty. Remember how a South American was carded for diving out of the blue a few years back?

I’m giving you my opinion that ‘soft’ ‘not really much contact’ etc etc all sound very familiar. It’s not coming from nowhere.

Hanging in there for your explanation of why the pen was not given. 
It’s my opinion based on the terrible decision overruling the video referee and cultural history. 

A lot of people say- you’ve cheated us of a pen and you’re tarring a player as a diver to justify it so you’re cheating us twice. And once a professional player gets branded a diver it’s a tough reputation to shake.

hughes ball watching, didn't pick the runner. earlier in the move gave the ball away trying to pass out of defence whilst on the move (so many modern NZ players cannot pass on the move).

I mean a nibble here and there, missing out by a whisker the first half goal which was great football otherwise and not getting pens, doesn’t change the fact we’re hardly creating a damn chance.

Moreno a Sth American was very lucky to get away with a clear trip on Ikonomidis (an Australian) inside the box, last weekend. Should have been a pen for MAC.

The racial bias stuff is loopy. As someone else posted some refs now seem almost scared to give a pen. Plus it's the A League, with a long history of controversial calls for all teams (except maybe SFC) & creeds.

 Disagree with you on the keeper call point. Anything can happen in a goalmouth scramble when the whistle hasn't blown

Brisbane are last place and they came away from home and could have taken the 3 points if they didn't hit the post. Very disappointing 

That is us finished for the season. The people in charge need to be seriously thinking about next season and whether Chiefy is the man to lead us for it. But I honestly don't think the club cares enough about winning to even sound out alternatives. Too happy with mediocrity.
