Of course Roux and McGarry having a blinder. Payne is a better CB then RB.
We are creating changes through.
Expect more goals.

If he’d be careless it would’ve been- compare to the in control Farrel? Also if- but it wasn’t, so?
It wasn’t careless, it was a great well timed challenge. I was applauding and then the foul was called.

That's what I thought.  It wasn't a slide in the direction of the player, he only collected ball, if a 2 footed slide in a direction that isn't at a player is a yellow we should see a butload more.

I'd get it if he slid towards the player and we got lucky that he didn't collect him but his feet were never in the direction of the CCM player.

I dunno.  This shark can feel arbitrary at times.  Feels like we get plenty of studs hit our players without even a card at times.

Edit: I am drunk though to be fair.  And between beer goggles and yellow tinted glasses I wouldn't trust my eye sight.

We’ve got to get Zawanda challenging Farrell more and putting some good crosses in the box for him to challenge.
We aren't seeing much in the way of crossing tonight. Payne isn't pressing forward and Sutton is having a bit of a mare on that left side trying to cope with Nkololo & co, meaning he's not getting the opportunities to bomb up the wing. Could see Mauragis earlyish 2nd half.

Poor from Sasse. Hope he’s got the right spikes on.

Was very good first half but suddenly his ball control has gone all to hell.

And another poor touch under little pressure.
Still Ball should have put it on a plate for him at the other end. We’ve lost the fluency we were building at the end of the first half.

Subs? Who?

Ref better card the dissent too. Tells them to go away and they don’t- yellow.

Jeez, that's great for us but I do feel for Kaltak. He's got talent but he's struggling to get to grips with this higher level.

And card the commentators while they’re at it- studs over ball into ankle. Given.

Ok that's fair then.  If our yellow was a yellow gen that's a red and ref called it.

I can see why it's red, but he does get the ball but that was more luck than planning, went in high studs showing, wasnt even looking at the ball

I'm with Simon Hill on that one, can argue either red or yellow.

That’s not a red.

if a two footed tackle that doesnt make contact or cause the opposition to didge is yellow, then a tackle with raised studs that makes contact is red all day.

Actually think on balance of things, it's not red.

But.... given the multiple bullshark red cards and lack of VAR help on them (or VAR indeed giving out the red) that we have had this season, I honestly don't care. Deal with it Mariners, we have many times.

We don't win against 10 when chasing a game, would happily be wrong but I don't see that changing tonight. Mariners will probably score on the counter.

But it is a red- ref has given it. The VAR hasn’t overturned it. And there’s no case to overturn it, but there is a case for another yellow or two for dissent.
Especially given the unpunished foul play after the whistle last game.
It’s cost us momentum though and we’ve got to get it back.

Time for van Hattum to do something. He’s had a lot of minutes for little scoreboard involvement.

Wtf, we have a player advantage and we fudge around with the ball across the back line and back to Oli. FFS, wake up and go forward and attack.  Old's great contribution, a yellow within 30 seconds of going on. Rufer's passing as ok, it Payne at RB that is the cause for concern. Fudgeing attak, you have 10 minutes.!!

Time for someone to drive us forward. We’re flat and not looking like scoring.

Weird sub for me. Sasse still looked likely. OVH is a bit Central League for me I'm sorry to say.

Oli Sail keeping us in it... embarrassing point to be at. None of our forwards are on their game tonight but unfortunately are bench options haven't been great coming on either.

Questions on Uffie for continuing to play him as an impact sub.
Also where are these mythical Ugarkovic goals everyone was talking about?

Perhaps sticking to golf might have been wiser. How many games before he actually shows up in a positive note??

Not to mention those Old goals. Watching that pitiful shot way over the bar makes me wince and wonder if he's ever quite going to crack this level, despite his obvious talent. As McBreen would say "he has to do better".
