Great block Lachman. Think that would've been arrowing in to the bottom corner for Conchie's first professional goal.

Lots of space down this right hand flank though. Good signs.

This is the most expansive we've been in the first half for quite some time.

Good noise from the Perth crowd. Hopefully they won't have much to cheer about at the end of the 90

I still need to get used to Sail's longer hair.

Old starting to get more involved with those tricky feet. You just feel this Perth defence is going to give him a lot of space which is exactly what he's after.

Small sample so far but Conchie has been decent in his advanced role too.

I like LKH going more into attacking positions.

Proper string in your bow stuff that nudging the form goalscorer in the comp off his stride to stop a 1 v 1.

Interesting the amount of times conchie is ending up our furthest player forward. We're really down to the bare bones

We haven’t scored from a corner this season, correct?

Never get excited for one.

For God's sake, get one of the journos to ask Chiefy why he isn't spending more time on dead ball situations in training. We don't ever look threatening from set pieces. No goals from free kicks or corners.

Edit: looks like nufc_nz expressed this sentiment about 30 seconds before I did

? Unless he's binned his heavy north of England accent I don't think so.

That was a half to answer what if we played a starting team where no one backed their shooting…would have been interesting to see what van Hattum might’ve done in that situation, but the second half could be a doozy. Two of our top goal scorers on the bench. How’s it gunna play…

They've got a couple of supersubs too in Williams and Anasmo. It'll be the last 20-25 minutes that really test us when out of kilter body clocks and tired legs take effect. That's when we need our subs to step up.

Not sure on that half myself, we look crafty going forward but worried by the danger posed by their crosses, decent chances and getting on the ball in the box. They've opened us up more than teams tend to at this point in a game.

Hopefully subs make the difference

Don't think we've gone into the sheds at half time having more shots than our opponents! COYN!

Ahh the post! Keep pushing lads, we've got them on the backfoot!

Anyone else thinking Zawada should have put it in behind for him to chase on to?

Salas loves a sliding tackle. All good so far.
Nix looking dominent since him, Zawada & Kraev came on. But those corners. LKH on the last one - shouldn't his giant frame be in the box?
