First of a tough run for us (burying my head in the sand about the Roar proving a tough opponent). Can we pick up the pieces prior to the derby?

I'll be attending this one (yes, the better half did point out I'm ditching her for football on Valentines Day), so would be keen to raise a glass with any local fans.

Good on ya Simon. I'm sure your better half will be happy for you! Hope the Nix boys turn in a decent showing for you.

been to every Melbourne over the last 8 years, yet to win at this ground, I will not be attending this weekend due to family event on, I bet Nix win knowing my luck.

A noble sacrifice Nb222. I hope it works.

Last time the Nix played at AAMI, against City, was maybe the worst I've seen us play ever (certainly in a game that we didn't lose by more than 3, anyway). At least this game is going to be a 730pm local time kickoff, giving us some chance of actually trying to play some football. If it had been earlier I probably wouldn't bother tuning in, there'd have been essentially zero chance that Chiefy would do anything but park the bus from minute 1.

Edit: remember Wootton being handed the note from Chiefy, looking utterly perplexed by it, then us immediately conceding the second goal? Good times

Hi All,
As well as travelling over for the game on Friday, there's a group of us going to Tarneit on the Saturday to hopefully watch Western put 4 past the Jafas again. :-) Thanks to the Western Service Crew Capo, use Ticketek code aloisi25 to get 25% discount on match tickets - I can confirm it works. The Service Crew are in Bay 8, and have asked us to go in Bay 7 next to them (rather than in their Bay), and to join them in the beer garden behind the temporary stand pre-game for beers and banter. See you on Friday - COYN! :-)
