I don't know, in my eyes, Adelaide player would've had to cut across returning defenders to get into a 1 on 1 with Josh. I think it get's cleared easily had he left it, whilst being out of goal just created a whiffed goal scoring oppurtunity for them.

Then again, my goal keeping "career" ended in highschool and I'm sitting on the couch eating a pizza watching this. So take my opinion as you will lol

I don't really know what our shape is tonight but Adelaide are find space at will. 
Definitely missing rufers ability to get on the ball and dictate play. 

I wonder if our defenders ever get the intrusive thought to just nail it into our own goal when intercepting a cross whilst facing goal like that?

we're a lot better organised than we have been. looks like a big emphasis on the basics and defensive shape. the double pivot is a lot closer together on and off the ball. no more zig zagged defensive lines!

Very combative first half. We've been opened up but other than the chance 20sec in, they haven't been able to capitalise on it. 
Looking for a huge second half. Plenty of running left in us and I hope we run them into the ground!

Great stuff so far! Sitting in a bit and letting them have the ball, but have matched them for genuine chances and leading at the break woohoo!

No - overcommitted himself when the attacker was on a tight angle. Lucky to get away with it. A najor weakness in his game.

Welp the lead was nice while it lasted. They have been very dangerous start to this half. Jovanovic and Dukuly are twisting and turning through our defence way too easily.

Where the fudge was James going there?!? Terrible defending.

Bill Tuiloma has been highly disappointing and the time here may have cost him a WC spot.

Other than being a fairly large and athletic fella, I'm not sure what James offers us.
