I hope regardless of results, the team get good numbers. First pro sport that has been truly affected by covid back on shores for a long while. I know I’m preaching to the converted, and the walk ups are weather and result dependent, but I still live in hope. They deserve it. Tough bloody few weeks coming up for them.

Points Per Game, we are equal 3rd with the Victory. If we can keep picking up points around that rate, we hopefully get a Home Finals game.
The worrying bit is, we only have pick up 1 point on the road so far this season.
Home: P10 W7 D2 L1 - 23 Pts
Away: P6 W0 D1 L5 - 1 Pts
So loads of travel to accompany with these midweek games.

Yes. 10 games in basically 6 weeks. 4 interstate trips (Roar, Western U, Melb Vic & Melb City). 1 trip to NZ. Basically a flight every week somewhere. Lots of light training days I imagine. Tough schedule, and Nix have had poor form interstate this season.

What a great way to win it yesterday! Happy for Pennington who had put in a great performance. But everyone did really well and we were superior throughout the contest, well before Malik's red card.
Hope Lewis' injury is not as bad as it looked... But let's be honest, it looked terrible.

fair weather fan!!
A big shoutout to the boys and management of the team who managed last night to pull it off.
Looking at the quality of the opposition and the experience of our squad and putting on a group of players with not much playing experience at this level was very fortunate timing.
The entire squad never stopped believing it was possible.
If we can continue to play toughly, under the conditions and difficulties likely to occur in the next 6-7 weeks, then we should be able to weather the difficulties ahead of us. A final six spot still looks possible.
The younger members of the squad are giving us a glimpse of what they are capable of.
