Sheridan in midfield another pretty bizarre option considering the players available
But what players are available? The choice is very nil!

Someone check Retre’s attendance ticket please. He’s in the wrong section.

Oh I hate Tillio. Not good enough for Scotland, but always scores against us.
hits the ball like a real pro

Brooke-Smith with his head up. Love it. Gotta teach that to his team mates.

Well that's another positive. Usually when we get a free kick near the centre circle we pass it backwards!

4 possessions. A little carry and a square pass. Wins a throw. Wins a flick on. Good pressure on the keeper. Simple things that add up to better overall.

Doesn’t go backwards. Doesn’t lose possession.

Best passage of play all match. Should be 1-1. But great save.

We miss Paulsen too.

He won us points when we weren’t that great.

The Wanker whom over watered that pitch deserves shooting. I know the A League like it but there's a difference between watering & WATERING.

Chiefly should be starting with his best attacking team to get some scoring points on the board… then bring on the players that play ‘park the bus’…. cos we know he likes that style of play.

Should bring Ishige on - I know he has a niggle, but he's on the bench so must be fit enough to play some part, and we are chasing this game

That says a lot about the current Nix: we pressure them into giving up the ball in their own half, Sheridan collects it but instead of looking forwards puts the ball safely sideways.

I can see us not winning again this season. Like tonight was better, but still not very good.
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

If Chiefy is in charge next season, it is proof positive that the Nix will never, ever win silverware. We are far, far more likely to cease existing than win a trophy.

And I think we can put to bed "the injuries have been why we haven't won games" argument. It was true for a time but that's not why we aren't able to compete in this game. It's tactics and poor recruitment.

Has Tim Payne lost his Mojo??
Sutton was also very quiet tonight. I think Sheridan's a tidy enough footballer but when we're clearly not getting much space for our FB's to use, we need someone with a shark load more nous as one of our MF's.

That one great chance to Piper aside we have never at any moment been in this game. Happy for Hughes that goal was disallowed cos he's had a really good game.

At home against a team that has won 1 game in it's last 5 matches.

What analysis, insights and positives will Chief share in his post match interview today? Plenty, you wait and see...
