Right before half time is always such a bad time to concede

Well that is really poor in all aspects. And nearly undone again a minute later.

Have to start again second half. Not even Chief to blame!
Christchurch looks like a good turn out and in good voice. Really impressed to see them loudly cheering Josh’s punch. It’s like a good football crowd that’ll support the keeper and defenders as well as the wingers!
Fraser…well, a right fanny, in the Scottish sense.

That last 10 in the half proves why we need to clear this shark out. The aussies have been poor, kelly heald terrible, tuiloma and hughes not moving the ball quick enough and Josh yet again should've done better with that goal.
If we can't put away those golden chances against last place (and utterly terrible) WSW, what hope in hell do we have in doing anything in the slim chance we make finals? I like Greenie but these players are just not good enough.

LKH and Najjarine trying to defend there and getting lost. Edwards struggling last week. All season we've needed a decent LB.

To be fair it was a pretty decent half of football from us, unfortunately let down by a truly terrible defensive lapse plus a failure to punish WSW with a second goal. Liked our ball speed going forward, passing generally pretty crisp. Need more of that second half. My heart did sink a bit when Piney said that WSW have conceded first 13 times and never won....

Nagasawa like a pro.
Let’s roll on here. Don’t stop boys.
I don't know if it's a good idea to re-sign an aging Nagasawa but I do love his 100% attitude in every game. Total team man.

that pass from Eze. Stunning stuff. Unlucky. Piper has done better than I thought he would too there.

If Rufer is indeed leaving, I wouldn't be against offering him a one year deal tbh.

I’m shocked how Retre, who I was sure was a fraud, has just clicked into the role next to Rufer in the Greenieverse.

You'd want to give Nagasawa another year if Rufer is leaving - even with most of our imports leaving. There's a bit to be said about continuity and Nagasawa has been very good this season.

Injured. Then not match fit and not getting a lot of minutes. I think its really only the last few games hes had enough game time under his belt to build match fitness and touch and combination.

That foul is such a joke. Barry wrestling Hughes in the foreground and clearly not looking at the ball. Another interesting ref call.

A good performance, that deserved more goals from us. We got ourselves into good positions but couldn't make it count. Hope the roar can spank city later and then we can hold on to the hope for one more week

Great to see Bill and LKH killing the danger in key moments just by making tackles and winning the ball.
Siccluna was impressive for them I thought, too.
This wide 10 role suits Nagasawa much better. He can help out the LB, but also run counters and get into scoring positions.
Payne shows us how good he is. Sheridan does a job, but going forward lacks Payne’s all round skills and confidence.
Come on Brisbane!

Kudos chch, you turned up and hopefully felt entertained! Sounded like a great crowd on tv, nice and boisterous.
Nagasawa had a blinder, but we really need to start converting more of our chances. Some good skill and fortune prevented them from scoring again and it really felt like the ref was trying to make sure they got a chance. Was surprised he blew when he did all honesty 😂 subs took a bit of time to get going, but worked out in the end. We definitely lost something when Ramy and Payne went off.
Still, a good performance overall and we’re still in the race. That’s all we can ask for. Happy days!

Kelburn is the worst place possible for a new stadium

central, get uni fans, a bit of walk up the hill. I just put a random field. putting a new stadium in Porirua, LH or Newtown is not feasible too.

Horrible transport links, no parking - 70% of fans come from Porirua or Lower Hutt for Phoenix games - rumour is Fraser Park is being looked at.
