That's a soft yellow card surely.
And McArthur somehow get the no red at all MRP, meaning no ref would give a yellow…

Can we go back to playing like we did in the first half please?

Subs maybe? Need some fresh energy. Although to be fair they haven't really created anything truly dangerous. Yet.

Big challenge to the cardiovascular system this. We look tentative and slightly afraid.
About 10 to go in the other match.

Mariners have been quiet and got lucky scoring that goal from outside the box. Took a deflection too.
But the Jets really don't have much going forward...

3-1 Mariners.
No way back for the Jets now.
We turn our attention to Adelaide on Wednesday...

Ah well, we knew it probably wasn't on the cards. But that half hour when it was 1-1 was real heart thumping excitement.

Bittersweet victory, in light of the Gosford result. But a very good form for the finals.
Oh well, that was a brilliant game. Don’t hardly remember Paulsen doing anything. We came up with the goods this game. A Kosta goal, an Old assist and Payne goal, a Zawada pen and a clean sheet. A classic hits performance! To graduate our best ever in front of a crowd of 15 thousand. We can only control our end and today that was fantastic.
Edit:And often the unsung hero, the Pennington pass to Kosta to get us underway and banish any doubts.
