And a second late shot on Ishige. No yellow. A league.
a-league commentary is doing it's usual thing too. the towell was nothing to do with the goal. the ball slipped out of piper's hands. and get of the ballboys back. dickheads
It’s how you know you’re doing well I guess. They wanna talk about anything but the football.
At least it's not random useless facts all match like Piney.
We don't deserve to be drawing this game. Our set up is so honking. We have 3 CB's marking their lone striker, and even then our two WB's are playing almost as deep meaning there is no one in the middle to put pressure on the ball/pass and they canter forward.
We shouldn't be anywhere near this game - happy that we are, but it doesn't hide the fact that we have been dire on the ball and off largely.
Really look forward to some of you fans ???? offering up some form of apology even if they do go down eventually. Shark some of you are miserable bastards.
You have admit after the first 20 mins, Nix could have been down 4 or 5-0, they were just being completely over run. Luckily Mauk hit the post when they were rampant so it didn't become 3-0. That goes in, and it could have got very very ugly.
Now Adelaide are all nervous, knowing their defence is shark.
we showed what we can achieve if we play with intent. both goals, and other chances, from direct delivery too. i think we start each game thinking too much about the system and worrying about protecting the space behind us.
i credit kosta for sparking us and reminding us that when you're on the pitch, you have to actualy play
Mauk is the biggest dick head in the A league. Sutton slips and accidentally whacks his jaw on Goodwin’s knee, but he has to get involved. That Perth ground can get mighty hard in summer Sam!
Hughes has massively improved from our biggest liability to playing well. Unfortunately our keeper has grabbed the liability card with both hands, which is ironic…..
Sad to say I think Brooke-Smith coming on also. They just attacked him from that point and then when we moved to cover him they switched play to good effect. And we couldn’t as of yet put him into space in attacking areas.
The good news about that is that cheap give away at the end didn’t cost us a premiership or a home semifinal or anything.
And despite good stuff from Ishige (one more assist required to equal most in a season for the Nix), Hughes, Kosta and others, the bad news is that it’s difficult to imagine us in a position where that might happen again soon.
I've always liked the look of Goodwin, he has potential. I can see him and Botic leaving after this season to get a deal similar to Waddingham, Stamatelopoulos, and Yengi.
Really thought we could have won that in the second half but alas we couldn't even hold on for the point after getting ourselves back into it. So our misery at Coopers continues. These curses need to be broken.

Yeah Pounds has been disappointing with his cameos the last month or so. But hey he's only 16.
Hughes, Sheridan and LVH all starting to show some progress in their 2nd ALM seasons, especially Hughes. At least he knows where he will be playing each week, unlike the other two! Some hope these younger guys will be better again in their 3rd season.
I like see at least some mins for GSR before the campaign is over.
Chiefy alludes to the pre match head space of the team not being great for this match. You suspect Kosta's goal completely against the run of play, provided the spark to save the Nix from heading down a dark path tonight.
