Pisses me off a guy slips over and gets 3 weeks, when three players jump into a player like that, one drawing blood with the arm, and well, it’s just an accident.
I am getting sadly resigned to seeing our fullbacks deliver poor quality crosses. What good is Payne out wide if he's putting over such rubbish? It's not good enough.
I mean this season, not just today. Payne's crossing has been noticeably poor since round one. And it's not as though he isn't capable of excellent quality ball because we've seen he is. Really feels like he's coasting.

Their studs were not showing.
Not convinced Sasse’s contact was with the studs. And an elbow in the head can be much more dangerous than a clip in the shin pads. I mean obviously if it was Rory, Rory…
All I have to say is, there is no PASSION, there is no VISION, there is no AGGRESSION, there is no fudgeing MINDSET in this football club. NOTHING is there!!!
Can’t wait for the club to say how great it is to be at home again, how wonderful the centre of excellence is, how we have new sponsors, how we are trying to get families into the ground… focus on winning games of footbal ffs
you know having good facilities and a strong commercial basis are part of focusing on winning right? These are foundations.
I’d start Kraev up front in place of Zawada and have Old or van Hattum out wide. Not sure about Sasse, but we’ll see. Urgarkovic or Lewis is a tough one. Lewis was poor in defense and setting the tempo. But the first goal McGarry literally dribbles all around Urgarkovic.
Edit: oh yeh Ball ahead of Sasse. Maybe Kosta and Waine up front and Kraev wide 10? Hmmm
Another slow start into the season... This is getting really lame. I do think there is more to come from this team but we won't set the league on fire. Do we have a defense coach? If so, he's not doing his job. This laziness in the first half is really hard to take, no grit or determination.
On the positive, Sasse is coming back from suspension and will want to prove a point, and Ball will improve the side as well.
I wonder if Uffie will switch formations at some point I feel the 4-2-2-2 might be getting a bit stale. The only other formation he's played is the 5atb which we could do to stabilise our defense and with Sutton and Elliot as wingbacks probs suits them more. Or even try 4-3-3 with Pennington as a 6 and Lewis and Ugarkovic as 8's. A lot to think about heading into the league leaders.
