Rufer is average as fudge.

Reno needs to not try and be the next Uli. He needs to be a better version of himself. So stop playing overly complicated moves and move the ball quicker!
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

Need a bit of individual something. We’ve teamed the heck out of this and been unlucky.
Yep there’s the replay. Damn. Oh well.

Shows the value of a deep squad with quality subs. WSW may not be much of a team but they've got the guns to protect a lead.

There's gonna be a lot of red faces in here when WSW smash us for 4, Ibini with a brace and a own goal from Laws. With players out injured we are just making up the numbers in the league.

Why the fudge was Sail up for that corner?
Eastbourne Football Club - we're gonna take the Chatham Cup this year.

Worst second half in a long time. Attack was non existent. Rufer yet again very disappointing.

Felt to me like the mistake from Sail, who has been one of our most inspirational player, mentally knocked the stuffing out of us. Till that point in the 2nd half I thought we were looking good.
These defensive errors are a real worry.

Did all you lot miss the huge push Hemed used to get his marker out of the way for their first goal - it was obvious as anything - is the VAR blind?

A bit to dissect here.
We didn't play badly, we just don't have any sense of direction for where the goal is and how to get into good goal scoring opportunites which is the most frustrating aspect of our game while we are missing a decent quality 10.
Piscopo and Ball look very similar with the ball at their feet and trying to dance around defenders. We're just missing that one quality player to unlock defences and feed the front trio. I don't think Piscopo is the answer as a 10, Lewis is more a 10 than Piscopo. Ben Old is very promising, will be interesting to see how he develops.
On to the next one, hoping the Academy products can get a start for the midweek game.
