It seems a Yellow Fever diaspora is imminent, so perhaps this is a chance for a timely competition for those of us who might miss out on a few home games as we jet around the globe?

Seems like Phil Style and I might have Yellow Fever outside Big Ben over the next couple of weeks?

So..how about it?  Post your photos of Yellow Fever OE right here.

Greta Idea Harryhotspur. I'll be in London city during next week for a bit . ..  might have to find a YF local watering hole!

I'm going to be taking photos of the phoenix scarf at various global landmarks. We'll have to start a thread here for them!

I'll get an Aussie mate of mine in Islington to buy you a pint if you get a picture of yourself on stage with a YF top on at The Church next Sunday morning!! (topless chick optional! hehe)

I'll be taking a YF t-shirt with me when I head home to Scotland for a visit in February. Might even see if I can pull a few strings and get YF mentioned in a Partick Thistle program while I'm there!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I've just had a thought. If Simon Storey is still with Thistle, maybe I can get a picture of him holding a Phoenix scarf. Wouldn't that piss the Tards fans off!

Sorry Ginger, I've got no intention of ever going to either "The Church" or "walkabout". I've moved here to see Europe, not to hang out with  a bunch of other Assies, Kiwis and SAFs.

Next month I'll be away and miss two games. I will bring you back a pic of a Phoenix item that you will all find suitably exotic. Promise made!!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Yep that I can do.  Heading to France in December.  Probably be a few shots taken when I go to Hamburg, Berlin and Stutgartt also.  What a great idea!  Europe needs to experience a little yellow fever

No Photo shop or such like ,if someone is seen wearing a Retro Ricki top in Gauntanamo bay or on Mars or such like then no prize !!

Unless of course they can prove that they actually are inmates at Gauntanamo who knows  maybe there are a few Phoenix supporters  in there!!

Most of the people at Gautanamo Bay appear to be dutch fans.  Orange very de rigour in those parts.

Never fear, I'm off to the UK in a couple of weeks and might try and get a snap outside ... ooo ... let me think, Turf Moor.

I know, I know, its serious!

I don't mean to ruin your fun but the top 2 links are dead "page 404 error not found" however the bottom link works.

Mayby we can fix them?

The Anchor used to be great, back in the day when I was young

Always remember my joy at explaining to my Uni friends how to get their from my house in Paddock Wood when the pub was on Crimewatch for that robbery/shooting back in 94

After that the pub went downhill fast - absolute dive the last time I went about 3 years ago

Harry is scratching his head working out how to reduce a 3.7 MB picture into one of less than 3.5KB for the purposes of this forum..any clues techno geeks out there?

Surprised I didn't bump into TURFMORE outside Big Ben..but lots of admiring glances at Retro Ricki. Even saw Australia Victory fan on a Thames cruise...resisted urge to shout 'WHO ARE YA?' and ignored him, although was tempted to point him in the direction of Traitors Gate !!!!!

Reduce:

  • Image Quality

  • Image Dimensions

Should just about do it...

Tried all those YomCat - but left with a thumbnail. Clearly Turfmoore's picture postcard size  is of greater appeal!

I get the principles of what I should do, it is the technical side of it that has me beat at this stage. Have also realised it is 35KB max not 3.5 - but I would imagine the icons bar above this is still larger than that!

How big do you want to get it?
A 35KB JPEG can be quite a large image...

This Sunday I am off to see my friends in Tamanrasset, Algeria for three weeks. The Phoenix flag and the YF T-shirt have been bought and packed. I'll spread the message as best I can.
