Couple of things... Is there anybody who can tell me where the feck I can get a Phoenix shirt in Brisvegas? Or do I just give it up and wait 'til I'm home early next year and get one then? Same goes for the YF shirts - they look shirt-hot on telly, especially wiv all the seats at the cake tin... lol

Is there a YF branch here on the wrong side of the ditch? And if not we need one - I'm sure I'm not the only ex-Wellyfornian doin it tough trying to find out whats goin on (and tryin to find excuses to go to Wgton, besides the sevens lol).

Any suggestions would be appreciated - and no, not those ones; I'm not an Aussie... nor will I be lol.

I'm sure there is the foundations of a YF Melbourne branch (uid: Valeo?) - also look for Sam (uid: SydneyPhoenix08 ) on this board - he and his mates were the Sydney YF fans that got the black on Yellow Phoenix sign made up.

Fer a hundred and suxty I reckon you should kit out the whole team (if there was in fact a team... as opposed to sum goober who left the Hutt Valley for greener pastures, which are in fact brown).

Having said that, the local footy ground here isn't too shabby either to be fair lol (and they did at least have the sense to use different, ok ,two different, colours for the seats lol)

Nic - sounds good to me... seems I can get a shirt here OK, though not sure about the Mexican connection, esp the Melb Draw... There's a footy shop here which I'm gonna call today in a desperate attempt so who knows... Any YF/Nix shirt would be sensational!!! And the flag sounds a goer too!

We'll need all the help we can get at the game - I'm tryin to drum up a couple other expats but their rug-heads so it's a bit of a struggle. I asked one if she wants to come and watch Wgton v Qld in a coupla weeks and when she replied that she was sure the S14 had finished, I resigned myself to a defeat - though there is a glimmer of hope!

And the white shirts will be good here for ten months of the year - not two lol

yeah I looked in the rebel in pac fair (surfers) last week when I was there and it was just a sea of orande and blue. the chick at the counter said new zealand didn't have a team in the aussie league anymore!
