He played against Stefan's gang and walked away with my thinking i'd like to see him play holding midfield rather than CB, he's quick, got a great touch and not a half bad left foot!

Thanks for organising this guys, one of the coolest experiences yet (doesn't beat stretcher bearing for the AW match though )

Good turn out guys..
Can't figure out the reason for the surge of people showing up though.. Hmm.

Hopefully we can keep it up each week. Maybe find a pitch with proper goals or something if we have turn outs like that..

Which Celeb will it be next week?
Don't know, But keep your eyes on this thread.
Don't expect a player every week though, or each month. This is the first time its happened since this started.

At this moment.. The next one looks to be Next Sunday afternoon at Martin Luckie still. Maybe a 1pm start because of the game the night before.

I am also going to do some research into the pitch at Nairnville. It will have to be booked and may cost a bit, but probably $5 a game?
What would people think about that? We would need a god turn out because im not too keen on spending my own money for a sh*t turn out.Stefan2010-01-03 22:33:58

Get into the Facebook stalking and what not and send a player a message like the Hampster did.

Oh yeah..
When I say stalking, I don't mean actually stalk.

If you happen to actually have a nix player as an actual friend. Maybe invite them. Please don't go out of your way to get hold of a player.
Don't add them and Email their personal Address, Find phone numbers or addresses or message their partners. (Its happened before)
Simon was an exception. As he knows Siggy. And Siggy loves him.

Siggy is a great guy and happy to interact with fans and do things like that. Some may not be so keen and may (Or will) just find you bloody annoying.

We don't want the Fever to get a bad reputation. For the Fever to lose contacts at the club or be shut out would be a disaster.
Tony or Ricki may also not like his boys playing with us as.. Lets face it. It can get a bit rough and the last thing they or we want is an injured player. And god help you if you do.

Its called controlled agression . Don't think anyone got hurt did they? Well they shouldn't have done. (except me who has a huge, purple left ankle, cuts on my knee and a bruise to one of my love handles).

Lets be honest Dave you would have put a few more ankle taps in....if you could keep up with someone other than the goal post

And you may have noticed I deliberatley avoided marking Mr Sigmand and/or withdrew myself when the time presented itself (again - controlled agression).

P.S sorry Simon for the slide chop (only chop all game) - to be honest you were just to quick for me ! Thats happens with age and an additional, i am guessing, 15 odd years bees drinking.

Enjoy the kick arounds. Thanks for organising Stefan. I am potentially available for any social clubs please PM my agent. And if in future anyone gets a bit scaredand would rather play holding hands then i am happy to go in goal - as someone kindly pointed out yesterday - i am good in goal as i cover most of it!

Ive thought about it. Only small ones though.

Stefan I have a couple of sets of pop up goals. I could give one to Hard News to put in his car. They'd do a job for ya.

Bugger.

Mine is jammed shut from the incident on the way to Palmy.  Fine if I can send the junioe news in to get stuff.  Pain in the arse if not.

I was so pumped up for this game and the kickaround and finally getting to meet some of yous, but unfortunately its not to be.

There is still a very very small chance I may come, if for some reason my departure away is delayed overnight. Highly doubt it though.
