Dear Fever,

We need your opinions!

If the opportunely came up so that we could produce a 20 odd minute show for the internet or TV, what would you like to see in it? It has to be original content.

Complete blank slate. What regular segments would you like to see? Any one off segments? Serious? Fun? Or both?

Give us your (serious) thoughts!

A players vs feverite challenge, each episode a player could go up against a feverite in some sort of football challenge (e.g. hit the cross bar, kick the ball the closest to the corner flag from the center circle etc). Keep a leaderboard and see how much the players thrash the Fever by.

It would also be nice to have interviews with Feverites at the pub before matches, and afterwards as well.

Also, well done on copying your spelling mistake across the website, facebook and twitter 2B.

I quite liked the idea on facebook of interviewing travelling away fans coming to Wellington.

Whats Pantelis like on a mic? Could see if he would like to be involved.

Would be nice to know more about the young fellas in the finishing school, maybe get them to compete against the senior pros in stuff like ten pin bowling, golf, etc.

I like the idea of a skills challenge between the school of excellence boys.

  1. Coaching tips session
  2. Referee tips
  3. Amatuer video clips from around the country of the next Wynton Rufer
  4. Interviews with Nix, AW, Football Ferns players (1 per week, usual stuff - inspiration, match day rituals/prep, memorable games, what do you least like about Miles Davis)
  5. Nix "Away Day" reports (see the Spurs "Away Day" youtube clips by Dan Louw)

Well, if we can't have 20mins of Mel McLaughlin can we at least get Danny Hay to be the host?

Just Nix player interviews and behind the scenes with the team. If I wanted fan interviews I could just talk to myself.

Eating competition.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

I think if you were a lady and I was a man, there may be a need for love from one to the other.

Definitely a yes for that if possible, not sure how long they run but am sure they go longer than the maybe 30 minutes snippets we get on the telly (if we're lucky)

A review of the last matcht the start of the show, preview of the next match at the end of the show. In between fill it with player challenges, profile a player each week. Not sure what else...

I think profile of youth players would be great.

If we did talk to fans then Id rather it be around town to randoms to get a guage on general knowledge and following of the nix for basic stuff. Like ask people when the next game is or to name 3 nix players - could be some easy laughs there.

I just wouldn't want it to turn into a interview with one diehard fan to hear about how long theyve been a supporter, how far they travel and blah blah.

Phoenix drills session. Theres a few hundred years football experience (grass roots to pro) between all the players and staff. Have each of them demonstrate their favourite training drill.

Why not make a show about four young men in circa-1960s LA, members of a struggling country-folk-rock band looking for their big break amid madcap encounters with a variety of people straight out of TV/movie central casting, and amid complete knowledge that their existence is part of a weekly television series. The reallife young men occassionally also discuss off-camera matters with their producer, at the end of episodes, and perform a litany of engaging country-folk-rock songs each week.

Maybe their theme tune could be the amusing yet hurtful song about Peter Reid and his team of Mackems?

"Cheer up Peter Reid, oh what can it mean, to a sad Mackem b@st@rd with a, sh!t football team"

(There is worse version of this)
