So long as they want to stand for 90 minutes and sing with us . .  and don't mind the "mature" lyrics of some of the songs.

Junior News will be there Friday night, but there is a fair to middling chance some of the language will be questionable.

We'd better do "we'll be coming" or he's going to go ballistic.

I have bought a Family Pass and wil be close to the Fever Zone , the reason wht I didn't choose the FZ was my children will not be able to see the game as most of the Block will be standing for most of the game  and wouldn't of been fair for them and also small ones being Parrots as they are , when I drop them off to their Mother's can you imagine what thay would be saying about the opposition and some of the dubious calls that tend to happen!!!!!!

we sat above them against Syndey I thought they were fairly tame, I will be bringing my two boys on friday night and I am sure they will love it... ..... they have been exposed to some fairly roudy football crowds so are quite use to it..

By overseas football standards, it is tame.  By NZ sports crowd standards, it is rowdie.

Waht we don't want is people with kids there being upset if some songs have the word "f**k" in them, or someone yells out "c**t".  As long as they have fair warning, they can choose if they want to risk their little precious' in that environment.

Personally I think kids will hear far worse in the school playground

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

my kids haven't been to a game outside of new zealand
i was talking about wellington local games

and i agree with you in regards to the playground stuff
i think it depends on the kids age and what they are use to
i don't think i would bring my child is they were under 5 and sit there!

not everyone wraps their child in cotton wool you know

That's why Stadiums have seats... they are boosters for junior Fever members.

yes internationally we are nothing to fear but in lame old NZ used to rugby weeeeeeeeeeeeeellington we are "rowdy" and i have heard that the anti footy media will pray on our use of that c word and the f word and say that we are agressive and obusive etc. its ok for kids but they will start to use the questionable at home and at school, if you dont mind your child telling his teacher to f**k off or calling them a f**king c**t then bring them along otherwise family zone-which i hope gets made.

Also after a goal it may be a bit dangerous, not internationally!!! but in NZ people wont be used to people jumping and acting in footy exaltation (think is write word) may get hurt but i doubt it
also we all stand and as mentioned above they wont see much of the action

also the seats are hard to stand on, i tried to stand on one after our 2nd goal and they are not well balanced

Was in the Fever Zone for Bling game and there was a family with wee ones close to us.....but they soon moved.  Fair call......
And there was a pair of hotties in their late twenties that came up the aisle and stood two rows in front of us but off to the side - great view I thought and they moved also after about 5 minutes and went about 5 rows behind us but I'm sure they just wanted to check out my ass......

Good times football mum.  Glad to see you have a good attitude for your kids attending football games.  I remember when my mother sent me off to watch the All Whites v England at Athletic Park, think it was '92.  Being a foul day and just a young 'un she made me wear my ski gear.  I remember barely being able to walk I had so many layers on and sweating throughout the game...

I reckon a cricket match would be worse - you don't get people there who have been drinking for 6 1/2 hours!!

So - can you ask for tickets in the yellow zone, or is it for season pasholders only? I haven't been able to find out...

Pre-season has been GA, but yes you can buy both season tickets and regular season tickets in the YF zone.  Just ask for it when buying...

Personally I think its good education for the youngsters.  Just because people are shouting and swearing in the ground doesnt mean they do it walking down the road on a Monday morning going to work.

There is a time and a place for everything.

Its acceptable to shout and swear occasionally at a football game, but not when talking to your mum! Different circumstances, different behaviour!

I remember going to the FA cup final, Utd Vs Pallace when I was about 10 and singing "The Referees a W**ker!". I didn't then go and start calling my mates at school w**kers!

That doesn't sound like the behaviour of a normal ten year old!

I struggle to put in to words how much I hated that chant.... that and the Auld Lang Syne "come on you Kingz"

It depended who the ref was HN.

"Come on you Kingz" always sound like a death march to me. I guess in some ways it was.

i will change my opinion all together, NO FAMILIES IN THE YF ZONE, they take up valuble seats that drunken yobos could be sitting in. Think of the image we will send to our ausy rivals, families in the YF zone they will laugh at us.

it will become very anoying if there are families in the zone, i know all the true footy fans dont want them in there

You are more than welcome to tell my wife and kids they are not true footy fans. Just be sure you're wearing shin pads or you're gonna be needing a couple of friends to carry you home.

sounds fair enough to me being a real football fan is about caring about your team - age wouldn't seem to matter

sure,if parents don't like a bit of banter then they should sit elsewhere,  but if they're cool with it, then hey it's more voices

I can see both sides of the argument, but at the end of the day if were all supporting the black and yellow age has nothing to do with it.
