Unfortunately I'll miss it as I'll be in Sydney for a wedding.

Congrats to all the winners.

As long as we don't have last year's MC again it should be a good night....
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I want Arsenal to come, he will be funny!
You lot are all too serious.

PS If you want an MC I'm happy to oblige ...

I can be pretty funny although I'm not so good at being modest ...

Is the free beer and food enough to warrant a trip from Auckland? (return fares currently going for around $150)

There is a gig I'd like to push onto afterwards as well so it could be a good night.

Obviously I'd be looking at $150 as the breakeven mark so I'd have to be aiming at 20ish pints. Not quite sure if I can fit that into a short session.

Where's the link to more info about this shin-dig that I am too lazy/ inept to find?

It's been a long day but still, I should have applied some common sense there.

Course it is, man. I've always had a reasonable hangover after every trip down I've made. Then there's the chance to catch up with all those legendary people who post on here

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Think Feverish is organising it. So basically everything'll be made up on the spot.
Permalink Permalink

I can't make it this year - just as well, big beer binge a mere week away from my next marathon would be bad.

Anyway, in my absence, can someone please volunteer to be my replacement? We need someone to be the innocent catalyst for RobbW pouring LG's beer all over any dinner plates within a 10 foot radius....

We did discuss it for a few minutes during the week.

I was lucky enough to score cheap flights to wellington for this weekend after all. (I would have given a heads up to my fellow non-wellingonians but I got a Pacific Blue happy hour deal minutes before it shut)

So, can someone (I'm looking at you here News) hold a ticket for me? Or will I be ok to rock up and pay a tenner on the door?

At this stage I think we're doing a tenner on the door rather than last seasons more organised system.

I thought Miles Davis was great last year, very witty even though some didn't get his very dry humour.

Think I'll give it a miss, as despite the great work the YF backroom staff do, it's all got a bit bum-chumey, (as we used to say at school), this season. Yes you do lots of stuff but ffs feverish and Frankie have gone a bit attention-wh*rish, which is a shame as I suspect they are sound blokes.

Frankie lives in London and really has little to do with the Fever anymore and Feverish is more of a mascot than a functioning person.

I would also question your assertion that either of them are sound.

Yeah that's why I call Frankie a plastic, but I reckon he knows about his football.

Feverish-well the only time I spoke to him was at the Arctic Monkeys and he couldn't even string a sentence together, which is always a good sign in my book, but a lot of his posts are shocking.

Nah it was just the  general gayness/hero-worshiping from some of the younger YF posters that made the YF a tad crap and creepy really.

Can we stamp this sort of stuff out?
