Been wearing mine for a about a year now (but only to games, obviously). Very warm indeed on Friay night though pie eating can be a little tricky and it has been known to smell of beer from time to time.
Probably was a bit expensive for what it is and your grandma could probbaly knit one more cheaply. I went for the black one with an additional yellow 'tache can be seen on one of the YF galleries somewhere (bit I can't be bothered to seach as I am at work and supposed to be doing other things, apparently)

We got ours about 2 years ago from the US site US$ 25.00 probably cheaper than getting them locally although the postage wasn't that cheap from memory.

am already sorted for this season's headgear. a woman from work has knitted me an excellent, tasteful wooly hat. Yellow and black striped, 'dog ear' sides to it. Has no less than 3 pom poms. Very classy. Not quite a beard, but looks bloody stupid so its most of the way there!<!--
