Ovalhead at work was convinced to try a Phoenix game by his wife. Went to the Sydney game. Had to move seats at half-time, though, because you lot were 'making such a racket'.

Noise and passion at sport. Good grief. What next?

Suggest you either pipe down or just stick to 'Black, black, black' once a game.

Maybe the club needs to install a zone of silence next season.

Now that's getting smart! (Should this response belong on the pundamonian thread?)
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The shouting, chants and jeers are a part of the football experience. I dont think I would go if we couldnt make noise, Id just go to the pub or stay home and watch the game. Stefan2008-02-06 12:43:33

Disgraceful behaviour. You lot should be ashamed. Last time I was in the Fever Zone I could barely concentrate on unpacking my picnic hamper and doing my crossword because of all the noise you were making.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Jeez Jag you think you got it bad? Some bastard knocked over my prawn sandwich pointing and yelling at the player who'd been sent off. What has the world come to?

Utterly sinful behaviour. Next thing you know people will show up in all kinds of unacceptable atire, like yellow submarines, couches, condoms, sperm, or even worse, like coxey mentioned, rotund figures without covering for their upper body!

I don't think this is what God intended when He created the Beautiful Game.

Because every sperm is great. If a sperm is wasted, God gets quite irate.

I see  kids running up and down the stairs during the games, and joining in with the chants and jeers. And where are the parents while this is happening? They too are shouting, chanting and jeering!. What terrible role models.

It's a disgrace for sure. Alcohol, chanting, cheering, wearing colours, outward displays of passion for football - what's happened to the yoof of today...??

It's only a game you know..........
