As for wee Marco , he is a disgrace if he attempts to move away from the Phoenix. This lad has been handed a gold ticket to the game of football here in NZ , many a teenager strives to get a chance such as he has been gifted and for him not to even think about staying and offer some payback is shocking. It is reported that his father is acting as his agent , well if the reports are correct that Marco is going abroad then i would suggest that his father is acting as his bank manager , i would be surprised if he had any morals at all.

In 2010 there was a poll by the Yellow Fever for a couple of players to get scholarships for the Nix and wee Marco was there , shy , quiet and not by any means the towering football talent he is being branded about as , a young fella on the correct path to becoming a good player. He even scores a goal or two and for that he is applauded.

At the same gathering with the Yellow Fever another young fella was held in high regard and challenged the eventual scholarship winners for a place at the cake tin. This young fella is very loyal to the club he plays for now and has been all through his career and will continue to be. Why is that ??? , because he knows and understands that if you are fortunate enough to get a golden ticket and any ticket for that matter then it is for the good of the club and the fans that you get this chance , not for personal gain. THIS IS WHY FOOTBALL BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE.  

Well done Marco , if you do decide to fly offshore then your fellow kiwi's will not forget - that is a fact.
