I'm sure it's down to some $$ thing that they only allow 14 weeks for the league to run when it should be 18.

this is gonna be a huge result for this team.
it would be great to steal it 1-0, but to control the game and win well is something special and speaks highly of the coaching and the character of the players.

The 2nd goal (I think Jale) was very well taken, she had a lot of work still to do when she got the ball.

This result is nothing less than these ladies deserve. They've been playing some great football this season with little reward. Brilliant stuff for such a young and comparatively inexperienced squad!

Congratulations Phoenix Women. Fabulous game, great heart shown.  Odd referring, that went our way for a change.  But take nothing away from the team, lovely strike by Knott, great pass to, and finish by, Jale for her goal.  This result has been building from the first game.  Great victory, well done.  

Imagine how Alfeld is feeling - her first win in the A-league in her second season!  Call up to the Ferns to cap it off.

Chuffed for the team and staff. So many young players. So many first time pro footballers. A whole season away from home, away from families and support. And toss in a pandemic to deal with as well.

So happy for the team, it's been coming but mix of, honestly not the best opposition, and a full 90min performance and they claim the 3 points. 
Not off the bottom of the table yet but feels like they could possibly still get another result before season's end as have games against Adelaide, WSW and Perth so hoping turn the draw last time against WSW into a win. 

Are we confirmed for next season? Some of these girls need to be locked in asap.

we are confirmed for as long as we want a team in the league..... as far as I'm aware.
Not sure of the contracts the players are on but I'd hope most are multi year agreements.
