this is gonna be a huge result for this team. it would be great to steal it 1-0, but to control the game and win well is something special and speaks highly of the coaching and the character of the players.
This result is nothing less than these ladies deserve. They've been playing some great football this season with little reward. Brilliant stuff for such a young and comparatively inexperienced squad!

Chuffed for the team and staff. So many young players. So many first time pro footballers. A whole season away from home, away from families and support. And toss in a pandemic to deal with as well.
Fantastic to see their hard work and talents rewarded.
So happy for the team, it's been coming but mix of, honestly not the best opposition, and a full 90min performance and they claim the 3 points. Not off the bottom of the table yet but feels like they could possibly still get another result before season's end as have games against Adelaide, WSW and Perth so hoping turn the draw last time against WSW into a win.
we are confirmed for as long as we want a team in the league..... as far as I'm aware. Not sure of the contracts the players are on but I'd hope most are multi year agreements.
