First game of the Double Header.

How many of the team will be backing up from the Ferns game today?

Had a talk to Paige yesterday on the waterfront.

Simple equation really, the more minutes they play on Saturday in AKL, the less they play on Sunday. Looks like most of them are travelling to Auckland too.

 Ah that would make sense then. Considering she didnt go to Perth we are more likely to see her and not Satchell/Wiz then as they would be the Ferns Midfield

Thankfully, both teams playing in yellow today, according to Stuff

FFS. So they bench the best performing player from last week in Robertson. And keep playing Pritchard. I don't get it.

New game brings new hope....today feels like the day...sunny sunshine in the capital perfect for football and players returning from nz camp and will want to prove their worth. Makings for a good day out!

bit of pace with satchel and clegg i like it. Robertson benched crikey not good but hopefully will come on with good attitude and make a difference.

what other pitch? the facility requirements are the same for the men and women - none of the other stadia around the region meet those.

Playing ok so far, we'd really have had a couple of good chances if we had so actual firepower up front.

It makes sense to play at the same location as there are benefits to the double header, the problem is the pitch is also way too big for the mens team.

tachnically the "pitch" is the correct size as required by the laws of the game.....the ground is the wrong shape for football but again it is all we have.

Very positive start. Lots of good hussle on defence and interplay on attack. Also doing a lot more running at defenders that I remember is doing. Let’s hope we can turn it into goals. 

good save from Edwards, that was a good corner.

That should've been a goal. The through ball was phenomenal, great build up.

Pritchard - fudgeing donkey!
lovely pass, she does all the hard work to round the keeper, although the first touch was heavy, still had time to settle and pass it into goal. Instead she's lost her feet and hit it wide.

on a positive note, we are winning the 50/50 duels and creating some good chances.

Oh that needed to hit the back of the net. Clear cut chance that.

Great pass through the middle by Clegg to create that though.

The number 9 (sorry don't know all there names yet) just jumped/flinched away from the ball when she had a good scoring chance on that corner?

If they play like this every week people might actually want to watch!
