This is a very winnable game, WSW didn't look great vs Sydney on the weekend.

No Milly Clegg, she can't officially sign for WSW until she turns 18 in November.

Longo still listed as injured.
Following week is an international break so no games. Gives her a decent period to get right for third game v Brisbane on 4th Nov.

I can't see this as an option at the TAB.  Has the game been cancelled or something?

Can bet on the other games.

Definitely still on, they are warming up in front of me. I dunno why but neither the NZ TAB or Sportsbet have odds for it. Aussie TAB had us at $3.

Chur.  Been having a successful week so wanted to chuck a couple bucks on our squad.

not surprised, she had a very slow start first game.

this is being played at the same ground as the men right?
feels like all of the crowd has left.

Unlike the Yellow Fever, the RBB don’t care about women’s football

WSW for a long time has neglected and sidelined womens football. When the club doesn't care, it's not surprising when the supporters don't

Has been a bit scrappy so far, our passing has been better today than last week.

To be fair we had a game last year with the men first and the stadium emptied out before the women played.

It looked less dire than this but it was still disappointing.

as much as I'm happy we have some decent import players, I have some comcerns over Davidson at RB, she seems very casual with everything she does, seems to be out of position in defence and when she receives the ball her first touch is usually off. I'm hoping it's just a settling in phase.

On a side note: wow, Sky Sport Now is such an atrocious service. I signed up before to be able to watch the Nix away games, and it's got to have the worst streaming quality and the poorest app support I've seen in ages.

Dunno what she was arguing about. Blatant push in the back long after ball was passed.

Maybe she was arguing that the men could foul us and not even a foul got called and they want equal treatment.

What the fudge?  I thought Fraser was one of our imports.  She's a bloody Kiwi.  Fudge yeah!!!!

The women clearly aren't learning from watching the men.

You're supposed to hoof it way further over the bar.

some shaky moments but really grew into the game. Still a little bit soft in the middle of the park and maybe could play the ball forward a bit more. but overall doing well to retain possession and hunt it back when its lost.
Fraser looks like a talent, and I also thought she was an import!
Think Taylor is doing better this week in her CDM role. Just could be a bit quick with releasing the ball.
overall, good first half. Lets hope those chances at the end turn into goals in the next period.
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

It ended up crashing the tele, and when I finally got it working, it just kept buffering constantly and was basically unwatchable. There's an Android TV version that I've managed to download and install, and it's holding for now (touch wood!) but the quality is really bad. Lots of macroblocks from compression. :(

It's watchable, but it's not really what I'd personally consider acceptable for $45 a month. TVNZ+ is leagues above it when watching the BWSL, and it's free. (•ˋ _ ˊ•)

Got better as the half went on. Building nicely. A goal would be huge for confidence levels for this team right now.
I'd bring on Brown for Main.

I think it’s an issue your end not Sky as my feed is  perfect (satellite)

Yeah, talking about their dedicated streaming service and apps, not the feed. Lots of negative reviews saying the same thing, so it's probably not just me.

Just frustrating, as the only other option is piracy, which I don't do for ethical reasons.

Davidson looks really lethargic. There's just not that sense of urgency there. She's been caught out of position a few times, too.

Decision-making must be better in the attacking third. Or we could struggle for goals this season.
