Huge game. CCM have won all 5 previous meetings. Have only won once in the last 6 games. That win came against us. They drew 0-0 with Perth on Saturday so have one less day recovery.
They win this one and there's a potential chance to win the ladder.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

CCM currently sitting outside the top six so they will be well motivated for this one.
We are going to have to bring our A game.

We have been a bit clumsy at times. Mariners have a good midfield and making it hard for us.

A less than perfect pitch, and the passing and control is well below par.
I can't say I'm an Anthony fan..

Frustrating, we are letting ourselves down.
Elliott, well, she's not had her best game!

Although Woods missed a couple of sitters last game I'd much rather her up front. It's all been a bit lacklustre.

A couple of miscalculated passes but has held the ball up well and looked good to me. And very nearly scored an excellent goal. Not sure she’ll be too concerned that you think that.

With 3 games in a week and a half, it seems smart to have her rest a bit.
Hopefully she lights some shit up in the second half and takes thay confidence into Sunday.

FFS. We were so asleep there. Leaving the CCM unmarked at an attacking throw.

CCM seems to be the kryptoniteteam for the Wahinix. They NEED to win this one - they can take the comp if they don't lose.

The ref also whistles up very light fouls - whats the bet a penalty is in this game somewhere. We were looking by far the most likely in this game but just one bit of inattention and boom!

Much prefer Anthony Tbh.. Far better control than Woods and actually doesn't stuff up any threat by stupidly being offside.. Don't rate Woods at all

Looks like the inevitable loss coming.....hate to be so doom peddling but we've been going so well and had hope - tragic mistake..... now we watch CCM 'manage' the game out......

One of those mysterious keeper injuries that plague the game now days.

Too many passes not reaching their target.
Said it last week Woods has no idea about an offside line.
Second best tonight I'm afraid.

When we perform like this we look nothing like a top 4 side... Twice now Bev has been out coached, work to do!

Outplayed by a very good Mariners side I'm afraid. Mind you, that Nunn shot goes in off the underside of the bar and it could all have been different.

Phoenix choking in Gosford nothing new there. Annoying we get so friggen close. Thought they have looked nervous.
