City $1.29
Draw $5
Nix $7.50

Those odds surprise me. Yeah, we suck on the road historically but we have only conceded twice this season, 1 defensive howler and 1 penalty. Scoring hasn't been easy tho.

$1.29 is shocking odds. Let's hope we can defy it.

Jaber and Leon back in, which is great.

It's a good looking squad, if someone can score goals...

Well,we weren't very good, but that's a poor game,and City were worse.

Formulaic negative crap. I don't think the coaches give these players any idea how to attack or score goals.

Way top much pissing around with it achieving nothing.

City 64% possession  0 shot.

Yea impressive first half. Mel C are a quality side and we are going punch for punch with them. We probably had the best chance of the half at the end there.
Our backup keeper seems way more comfortable on the ball Esson, but probably too comfortable for her couple of hiccups. I don't remember her having to make a save yet(?)
Jale is really growing into her role in the middle. She is using her body well and is finding good positions in defence and attack. Just wish she wouldn't try the long taking pass as often as she has.
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

Bit underwhelmed by Samba. Her touch often lets her down but she is coming back from injury so that's understandable. But if we can find her when their defence is up, we might be on.

Every time the crowd get louder, I think Mel City have the ball in a good position but they are actually cheering cause Samba has the ball. lol

Hopefully Samba's alright, just returning from injury of course. That was good from Bev and the coaching staff, taking no chances and getting her off.

Samba looks terrible, maybe she's not fit , but I'd rather have Fergusson back and I thought she was dreadful.. at least she was fit.

Jale has been excellent I think, shame she couldn't get a good hold of that ball to score in the first half.

Melbourne were terrible.
And we lost.
Neither side had any idea how to score.

If you want to score,  you have to get the ball in the box, in positions that make the defence uncomfortable.  Not piddle around with it, going back whenever you can, waiting for the defence to be in place, refreshed and all watching your predictable passing.

Modern coaches have a lot to answer for

A result is always the result. Its objective. It can't be unfair. But this time it does feel that way.
