Yeah would have preferred Adelaide but not surprised we have Roar
First leg confirmed for 5pm AEST (7pm NZST) on Sunday 3rd at Spencer Park. If anyone else is thinking of going over for it, Roar members' presale starts at noon NZ time tomorrow then general sale is 6pm at https://brisbaneroar.flicket.io
If we did make it through, I really hope Victory beat City and give us a Home Grand Final. I hope if we had to go to Melbourne the club might sort something out for fans to get in on. Just not Wiliment Trave as they over charged the last time we had a thing in Aussie. Return airfares should be about $800. 2 nights accomodation, fly in on Saturday, game Sunday 17th, fly home Monday. Fingers crossed.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Think you might be lucky keeping the plane on the ground for two days in Melbourne wouldnt be cheap. Think if we had made the grand final they were looking at flying in and out same day
Dunno how many tickets Roar put on sale for the away semi (Spencer Park has room for 3-5k depending on which site you look at), but they were sold out less than two hours after public sale started. So we can expect a good crowd.
Listened to the A league's own Dub Zones podcast. Pundit and commentator Teo Pellezzeri picking Brisbane to win 3-0 on the weekend. That alone should be good motivation for the girls.

I think our defence is well good enough to expect a better result than that. Anything can happen of course.

Apart from Samba because its good for the league (doesn't care about the Nix). I think the all the APL YT content are produced by 10/Paramount hence the very strong Aussie focus incl. Socceroos and Matildas

It would be quite the departure from the rest of the season where we haven't lost a game by more than a goal. We also have the best defensive record, Roar the worst.

He seemed baffled that we chose the second leg as the home semi like it was the most bizarre decision ever. He also said that we've never won in Brisbane and that the last match in the Cake Tin where we won 3-0 "doesn't count" (lol wut) and therefore he's "very concerned" for the Phoenix women.
400 more seats? Does this mean some more temporary seating? Maybe on the opposite side from the main grandstand? If so it'll make for a fantastic atmosphere.
Mutha F--ka, Just been denied Leave for 10th. I can't pull a sicky either as like most of you, I'd be in the zone and half of my bosses will be watching. Good news for me is, should the dream come true, I can make the GF.

We can forget about a home final. Victory were poor going forwards against City, who should have won by more. Including being denied a Stonewall penalty when Bunge hacked down the striker.
Can't see City not winning the second leg comfortably.
