The recent incoming managers at big clubs, for the most part, are managers that play good football and have respect for the other managers - I'm thinking Conte, Klopp, Guardiola. It's refreshing to see.

TBH, Guardiola is boring cod. Great manager but boring.

Guardiola is bang average. Being found out big time in the Prem.

Of cause he is. A few CL, a few La Liga and Bundesliga titles, FA coach of the year plus ---------------

Piss easy with the best player of all time in your squad. Even Roma bottle job Enrique managed to do it.

Just ask David Moyes and the Dutchman that came after him... they had some of the best players around and couldn't do it.

I don't know why a guy who supposedly wants out would train on the teams day off.

Probably because he's a professional footballer

And it wasn't his day off. I read he was told to train. The team that actually played at the weekend were given the day off?

Don't know what to believe regarding Costa at the moment. He's got a bit of a history of having a falling out with a team only to reconcile. Could ultimately turn out that it was little more than a disagreement with a trainer regarding an injury. Time will tell.

We looked ok without him vs Leicester, though Hazard looked a bit disinterested playing in the 9 role. I think we'd be ok without this weekend against Hull but beyond that we obviously need him.

Agree, Hazard plays too deep for a striker's role. Costa is back training with the team so hopefully it blows over and we march onward and upward!

Oh, wait, we can't march any further upward :) lol

Well that was a nervy win.

Costa was good, Moses was good. Thought Hazard, Kante and Matic all played pretty poorly and that went a long way to explain why we looked so disjointed.

Really glad to hear Ryan Mason is talking. That was really nasty. Getting hit up behind the ear like that is really scary. Same spot as where Cech got hit.

FA Cup this weekend vs Brentford. I do love the FA Cup. The '97 final still rates as my favourite Chelsea game.

We played Brentford in the FA Cup in the 2012/2013 season, drew 2-2 away then played them at the Bridge and won 4-0. I went to the game and the travelling Brentford fans were nastiest I came across.

4-0 over Brentford. That will do nicely. Really good to see the likes of RLC, Ake, Michy and Chalobah get a run.

Liverpool this week will be tough, on form you would expect us to win it fairly comfortably but Liverpool will be up for this.

Well 1-1 it finishes. Pretty happy to get a point at Anfield regardless of Liverpools form. Though when you miss a penalty there is always that feeling of a missed opportunity, having said that from the sounds of it Firminio missed a couple pretty decent chances.

With Arsenal losing and Spurs drawing it's still a good morning for us. 9 clear heading into the Arsenal game. Even a draw there with a Tottenham win and being 7 clear after playing Liverpool and Arsenal in a week would be pretty darn good.

Well done blues. Re- hazards goal. The way he spun Le coq out the way was just ridiculous. I think he might be still turning.

Wow what a week. Was fairly nervous heading into it with Liverpool and Arsenal in the space of a few days. To come out with 4 points is pretty huge.

That Hazard goal, oh boy.

9 points. 14 games. Burnley next up.

Hazards goal is massively overrated. It was piss weak defending all round. If Xhaka was playing he would have broken the stupid Belgian cods legs.

Yea to be fair it was pretty terrible defending, still, running from your own half to score isn't the easiest thing to do.

Was odd that neither defender opted to actually put a challenge in.

Even if the defending was not great, you can't take anything away from Hazard. It was still a good goal.

Excited to get United in the Cup quarterfinals. Would have been nice to get a Lincoln or a derby vs Millwall but I think the United game suits us more than them. Last thing they need in their hectic schedule is another away game.

Swansea this weekend. They're looking good under Clement so will be interesting to see how we go. We weren't that good against Burnley or Wolves. Id like to see Cesc start.

The touch Hazard took to take the ball around the keeper for our first vs West Ham was absolutely sublime.

No Zlatan this weekend for the quarter final so that's a bonus for us.

Awesome to get the win this morning. Will have to wait till I get home from work to see the game. Tottenham in the semis. Last time we played them in the semis we won 5-1 I do believe. Expecting a different game this time around. They'll be well up for it and we seem to struggle against them when they get into their groove.

Probably the least palatable draw we could have got, Spurs will be itching to show up in a big game at Wembley. Just hope we aren't their first victims there, CSKA excluded.

Yea that was one of those cliché title winning games. Like United the week before, Stoke seemed like they set out to kick and hack at us. They were baiting Costa but to his credit, he dug in and didn't get sent off and in the end they were the ones who ended with 10 men. He's never been sent off in the Premier League.

Perfect response, big win against City and away to Bournemouth where a few good teams have come a cropper this season.

5 wins to go - in my mind it's more like 4 as I don't believe Spurs, as consistent as they've been, can win everything they've got left.

Exceptionally poor performance at Old Trafford yesterday. Courtois apparently injured while filming a basketball advert and then losing Marcos Alonso during the warm-up to illness. The re-shuffle didn't inspire a lot of confidence in me - Zouma has played precious little football this season. Would have made more sense to give Nathan Aké a start on the left instead of switching Moses. Could've left Azpilicueta on the right of the back three where he's been so impressive this season.

United took their chances and got a lot of joy out wide early on. Our side looked lacklustre and Conte himself was very subdue. Hope this isn't a sign something's not right behind the scenes.

We have the easier run in to the end of the season but, with Spurs the side in form, I won't put money on us just yet. Fingers crossed for a good response in the SF next Saturday.

Yea not quite panicking just yet. The palace loss and now this though is a little worrisome. I keep telling myself that spurs surely cant win out. They just don't look like losing though. The way football goes they'll probably lose their next league game right when you'd least expect it.
