The VAR over-ruled a penalty shout in the Nix game vs WSW when Kamau was brought down in the box. And there was clearly contact on Kamau. It looked as though he had lost control and was already falling over but it certainly wasn't clear and obvious. What is the difference?

Not hugely different to the Simon pen. Soft, but as Rudan said to Doyle don't give the ref anything.
I don't buy into the view that you can hold, hug, and grasp an opposition player as much as you like and if a penalty gets awarded it's 'soft'.
