I think if Wenger wanted to come in as a mentor to OGS why not? Nothing can hurt at this stage.
In terms of actual on field tactics, could we possibly look at inverting our triangle and only having one holding midfielder in the middle of the park instead of two? McTominay at the base shielding the back four, with Pogba and one other in front if him (Gomes/Lingard/Mata/Pereira)
I only mention this as I don't think our defense is anywhere near as awful as it was last year and and our struggle at the moment is scoring goals, we need to keep teams on the back foot and adopt a more attacking mentality.
I'd just love to see us getting back to how things were looking pre-season. High intensity, high tempo and a great team press from the front. I know it was pre-season but it just seemed so much more positive.
Also out of interest, I challenge anyone to look at the last ten games Ashley Young has played in and watch him closely every time a goal is scored against us. It's a horrifying watch, out of position 95% of the time.
